Field Service Technician
MEQnordic A/S is looking to fill a vacancy for a field service technician based in Jyllinge, Denmark. MEQnordic works in the medical device industry and the technician’s service responsibilities will cover Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and Faroe Islands. There is an expectation that up to 40% of the candidate’s time will be spent performing services and repairs in these countries and will be able to travel at short notice to fulfil our responsibility of 24-hour response time for all major breakdowns.
The suitable candidate should be comfortable communicating in person and on the phone with Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and English speaking customers. Previous experience working in the medical device industry would be desirable, but service training will be provided both in house and with suppliers. The most important skill is an ability to quickly solve problems, especially in relationship to IT issues with Windows 10 PCs, as much of our products run on standard desktop PCs.
- experience deploying apps within Citrix and/or other virtualisation tools i.e. VMware
- Experience with UAC
- Experience managing user permissions on domain
- Interested in taking things apart
- Interest in technical sales
- Good people skills
- Comfortable working in hospital environment
